Is the hospital modifiable?

Accepted Answer

The floors can be modified, so this includes the upper floors, basements and different roof versions.
Be careful, however, because the additional elements (rezzer of lights and additional decorations such as those of the parking lot) are not modifiable.
 
It is not recommended to change the size of the floors, see advanced guide.

Is the furniture included ?

Except for the reception tables, furniture is not included.
It is your freedom to adapt it to your wishes.

You can remove some reception tables to replace them using the Second life editing tool (Edit link object)
Be careful because this requires advanced skills and must be done in accordance with the measures indicated in the advanced guide.

How many floors can I add ?

Theoretically unlimited, based on the Second Life limit of 4,096 M.

How much does the hospital cost in terms of land impact ?

Accepted Answer

It is not possible to give precise figures because the modular concept gives you the freedom to add as many floors as you wish.

We can give you some approximations as an example.
Count between 800 and 2000 Land impact.
(See user manual, beginning of the advanced guide for more information on this subject)

- With 1344 LI you can have a hospital with all the different types of floors including elevators and roof details without counting lights interior.

- For a complete hospital, i.e. all types of floors, basements in one minimum LI and all lights, count around 1676 LI.

- 147 LI is enough for you to have a complete underground car park in a minimum of cost.

- It is possible to make hospitals very high in altitude without blowing up the LI counter by playing with the "Fake Floor" type floors.

Question 6

Can a friend use the modular system as well ?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in part, someone added to the modular system can add floors of any type. However, it cannot adjust them automatically.

Question 7

Can I add several buildings of this type on the same sim without it posing conflict issues ?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can add as many buildings of this type on the same sim thanks to the channel system. A building has a single channel assigned to it manually by the user. Thus, there will be no conflicts when adding of floors.

If the light settings do not suit me, can I change them ?"

Accepted Answer

You cannot modify the additional elements contained in the rezzers.
However, you have two options, the first is to activate the invisible mode (CTRL + ALT + T) to distinguish invisible lights and for remove or adjust their position so that the light effect has less impact.

The second option is to remove the lights and place the one from the bonus content of your folder that is editable.
